What the Warranty Covers: This warranty covers Ultimax MAX, Ultimax PRO, and Ultimax XS snowmobile drive belts and Ultimax HQ, Ultimax UA and Ultimax XP drive belts for ATVs, UTVs and SxSs. Timken Belts* warrants that the belts will conform to our specifications and will be free of defects in material and workmanship.
Period of Coverage: This warranty remains in force for one year (on Ultimax MAX, Ultimax PRO, Ultimax XS, and Ultimax HQ belts) or two years (on Ultimax UA belts) or three years (on Ultimax XP belts) after the date the belt was originally purchased from Timken Belts or an authorized powersports dealer. We are not obligated to provide any warranty, technical or service support for products not purchased directly from Timken or from an authorized Timken Belts distributor.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover: This warranty does not cover any belt that was (1) improperly installed; or (2) installed on the wrong machine; or (3) used on a machine in which the drive system was modified or not in good repair; or (4) intentionally cut or damaged; or (5) used for racing; or (6) used on rental fleets.
Please Note: Our liability under any express or implied warranty is limited to replacement of the belt. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF, AND WE DISCLAIM, ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES. INSOFAR AS SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, WE LIMIT THE DURATION OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY, AND THE REMEDY TO THE PRODUCT REPLACEMENT DESCRIBED BELOW.
Who is Covered: This warranty covers the purchaser of the belt and anyone else that owns the belt during the warranty period.
What We Will Do: We will replace the belt if you send a claim that meets the conditions described below.
What We Will Not Do: We will not repair the belt or refund your purchase money.
How You Can Get a Replacement Belt: To file a proper claim, you must either complete the warranty form provided on the back of the sleeve that came with the belt or you can submit an online warranty claim by visiting www.ultimaxbelts.com/warranty. Warranty claims must include the following items, all of which must be submitted within 30 days after the failure of the belt: (1) proof of purchase (sales receipt or dealer invoice); and (2) the failed belt (or two photos of the failed belt to include the part number and the point of failure if submitted online; please note, after review of the photos, we may require that the damaged belt be returned to us in order to approve the warranty claim, so do not discard the damaged belt until the warranty process is complete); and (3) the completed warranty form (online form or form from belt packaging); and (4) $15.00 USD to cover postage and handling (no cash please) via a check or money order for submittals other than via the website, or credit card payment via PayPal when submitting a claim online. A warranty claim will not be processed unless and until all items are received within the said 30 days via the online submittal with photo attachments, or via shipment mailed to: Ultimax Belts Warranty Claim, Timken Belts, 2601 W. How State Law Relates to the Warranty: Some states do not permit limitations on the period of an implied warranty and do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. This warranty provides specific legal rights. Other rights may vary according to the state/province in which the owner is located.
